Ricky Martin is said to be 'feeling stronger than ever' after he announced yesterday that he is gay.
The She Bangs singer, who revealed to the world that he was homosexual in a blog on his official website, has posted on Twitter a response to thank fans for their support.
Martin wrote: "Whats going on gang? I'm doing great! Stronger than ever! I'm here relaxing @ home enjoying ur messages! I feel the love! Thanx for all! peace(sic)"
The Puerto Rican star also posted the message in his native Spanish for his international fans base.
Since coming out, Ricky has also revealed that it was the birth of his two sons by a surrogate mother that led him to admit that he was gay.
He said: "To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with. Enough is enough. This has to change."
The Livin' La Vida Loca singer added: "This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment."
Martin, 38 who said he was a: "fortunate homosexual man" also revealed how he would have come out sooner if it wasn't for advisers saying it would hinder his career.
