Malaysia must get Civil Minded

Malaysia practises Common Law, however many Commonwealth countries including the United Kingdom have long thrown out draconian laws which do not make any sense in this time and age. Such as Penal Codes that intrude the civil liberties of an individual's lifestyle and privacy.

At the end of the day, a civil society in a first world or developing country should easily realise that every individual Malaysian has voting rights irrespective of lifestyle, sexuality, creed, colour and religion, in short, every Malaysian must have an equal standing under the Malaysian Sun. We vote for a government to lead the country but we certainly do not vote for Moral Policing which at the end of the day is the individual's business and in some homes, a family business.
