The UK has so much to be proud of for democracy exist in true meaning and form while citizens of other countries can't even dream of having. Brown may hold on to power, he may even be appointed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to lead as Prime Minister but he would face a Volcano in Parliament whereby the Conservatives and Lib Dems cab easily pass a motion of no confidence on his leadership. This would mean that David Cameron will have to take over as Prime Minister. Hence, Brown can't escape the inevitable! The People of UK hunger for Change and they have sent a strong signal to Labour and Brown. The end of Brown is close at hand.
