Malaysian Prime Minister to retire

Dato'Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will have his last day in office on the 31st of March, making way for his deputy, Dato'Seri Najib Tun Razak. Abdullah has been in office for close to 6 years and has critics have it, he hasn't done anything constructive. But one should give the man his due as he has brought more openess in terms of freedom of expression but then again it was tainted by some of his Cabinet members who more often than not were hurdles!

Anyway, Abdullah leaves in peace, he is a man of grace, no doubt about it. Now the future of Malaysia is in the hands of Najib Razak and many believe that Najib will take the safe path of being a mixure of Mahathir Mohamad and Abdullah. So it's a wait and see stand for now, for both Malaysians and foreign investors. The future seems very much uncertain for now.
