Lee Kuan Yew's fear

Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore has made his fear known to the world by admitting that Singapore is suffering from a lack of population and that it has to open doors to foreigners for survival. The marriage statistics have drastically slipped over the last few years and citizens who have children only stick to one child. Well, how could they have more than one child in today's demanding economy and high cost of child care?

Singapore is also in desperate need of professionals, so it's only with professionals and a higher population, can Singapore's current state of affairs be salvaged. Mr.Lee says that it may take Singapore up to 6 years to recover from this financial crisis, the impact is so devastating beyond the imagination of a reasonable mind. Singapore's future remains bleak...
