I am happy with the new Malaysia cabinet but at the same time i am deeply frustrated that women were not given prominence. There used to be three women cabinet ministers and now it's down to two! Why wasn't Datuk Dr. Norraesah Mohamad given a Ministerial position?! She most certainly qualifies due to her corporate background, academic credentials and the fact that she is the only women that made it this time to the supreme council of UMNO. Why wasn't she appointed as Minister? Why? I am certainly not happy with this.
I was expecting more women in prominent positions but instead its be brought down to two! This is certainly unhealthy and unjust! We should be progressing forward, not backward!
I am indeed very happy for Dato'Seri Dr.Ng Yen Yen, Dato'Seri Sharizat Abdul Jalil & Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun. Congratulations Women!
